The People’s Design Code (Hull)

The People’s Design Code is an initiative by WeAreHereHull, a Rights Community Action project, through which we are inviting the people of Hull to build a code for the City Council to implement in decisions about land use.

The suggested ‘code’ was developed at a meeting at a by a local group of people involved in WeAreHereHull in the summer of 2024. It has also taken into account opinions and desires expressed by workshop participants over the last year and a half.

You do not need to be an expert to add your voice to this survey: you only need to be a resident of Hull who cares about the decisions that affect your city.

The 44 statements in the survey are in a yes/no/other format. They are divided into two sections: the first asks questions about how land should be developed; the second asks about how sites across Hull should be allocated.
